The first Rift will only start 6 hours after the official launch time.

Added the !stamina command which contains explanations of the system.

 

As a result of the recent poll we’ve posted:

Stamina will now regenerate while locked: 1 minute every 2 minutes locked. It will only regenerate if the stamina is under 4 hours.

The point drop system from Abaldar will be added to legacy:

 Instead of a fixed amount of coins/heirloom points, the system will give a percentage of what each account has. That is, per point drop, players will get a percentage of their entire account's coins, respective promotion tokens and heirloom points, as follows:

Launch day - 10%

2 days after launch - 5%

3 days after launch - 5% and cosmetics drop

5 days after launch - 5%

8 days after launch - 5%

11 days after launch - 10%

14 days after launch - 10%

17 days after launch - 10%

20 days after launch - 10%

Additionally, players will be able to unlock up to 13000 coins, 13 promotion tokens and 520 heirloom points solely off progression. That is, every 500 levels (before awakening) and every 50 awakened levels (up to awakened level 500, due to the prestige system), players will unlock 1000 coins and 40 heirloom points.

To be clear, these coins and heirloom points are not added/given to your account. This only unlock coins/promotion tokens/heirloom points to be dropped if your account has it.

As usual, every 1000 coins, players will receive 1 promotion token. In case the amount of coins dropped is not exactly divided by 1000, the remaining will be considered for the following days. For example, if you have 15600 coins in your account (equivalent to 1 large donation pack), you will get 10% of it on launch day (1560 coins) and 1 promotion token. The 560 coins difference will be registered, in case the future coin drops add up to 1000 coins, in order to drop you the correct amount of promotion tokens.

New Legacy Season Starts:

Raid Boss Spawns

A new spawn has been added to each Raid Boss: Kraken, Sarandiel and Forgemaster.

To access it, you must sacrifice one shard of the respective boss to their NPC (Kraken Hunter, Forgemaster Worshipper and Sarandiel Researcher).

The teleport to access the new spawn is located in their islands (Blackridge, Treasure Coves and Azmar Sands).

There’s a task that requires 3000 monsters from the island to be slain. This task resets weekly.

Completing the task grants a shard from the boss, which is soulbound.

 

 

 

Spawn Changes

Minerva’s Isle

Forgotten Shaman, Forgotten Spearman and Forgotten VIllager have had their experience increased by +50%.

Orc Doomhauler’s health and experience has been reduced to be equal to Orc Ravager.

Cyclops Assassin’s health and experience has been increased to be equal to Forgotten Cyclops.

Cyclops Spellmaster’s health and experience has been increased to be equal to Forgotten Cyclops.

Olympus

Reduced the experience from Young Gorgon Serpent, Gorgon Serpent, Stone Crawler and Gorgon Mutation by 15%.

The first darkness dimension has had their experience multiplier reduced from 6 to 4. The Archlight Token Monster Essence and Gold Monster Essence reduced by half.

Samurai Spawns

The following spawns have been fully revamped: Samurai Swamp, Ninja Monastery and Corrupted Cave.

All Samurai spawns have received 2 new dimensions, making it 3 in total.

The first dimension requirements are: killing the hydra and being prestige 5.

The second dimension requirements are: killing the hydra and being prestige 8.

The third dimension requirements are: killing the hydra and being prestige 10.

All the multipliers have been balanced out. The old Samurai hunt multipliers is close to the now third dimension.

 

 

Elite Monsters

Monsters will have a small chance to turn into their elite versions on spawn, within 5 rarities: Wicked, Devilish, Primordial, Abyssal and Infernal. Higher the rarity, higher their strength.

These monsters are much, much stronger than their regular version, but they grant a guaranteed Monster Essence, which is stronger than the regular version as well.

 

 

Experience Changes

Overall

Experience from Rift Tasks has been reduced by 25%.

Death Penalty Changes

The experience loss will now be based on the player’s Highest History Awakening Level, instead of current Awakening Level.

The death experience loss amount base has been increased by 3.33x.

As a reminder, PvP death experience loss is 5x bigger. This is not a new addition, it’s a game feature for several years.

Here’s an example of how these changes will work: if your Highest History Awakening Level is 1000, your total Awakening Experience is around 4.04B. If you die at Awakening Level 1000, you will only lose a few levels. The experience loss without blessing on this level is about 60M experience. If you’re at Awakening Level 200, the experience you will lose is still going to be reflected on your Highest History Awakening Level, which is 60M experience. This amount is enough to decrease you from level 1000 to 995, but at level 200, it’s enough to decrease you to level 85.

When players die at Awakening Level 0, a “Residual Experience” counter is stored. Any experience that this player would’ve lost if they had levels is stored there. 

Players must first complete the “Residual Experience” counter to then start gaining levels again.

We felt that these changes were necessary due to how forgiving dying was. Additionally, players could bypass the penalty system with the Prestige System, going into PvP situations at Awakening Level 0, receiving no penalty at all.

Experience boosts are now additive instead of multiplicative. This means that the compounding effect upon using several experience boosts will no longer happen, experience boosts will now scale linearly, as intended. With it, the experience boost display on the character panel will fully reflect on the player’s current experience boosts, which includes stamina boost, daily boost, global potions, perks, etc.

Experience boosts will no longer be applied to daily tasks.

 

 

Bless Changes

The !goldbless command has been replaced with !bless.

The cost of bless has been updated.

From level 0 to level 1500, the cost remains at 500k gold.

Players from History Awakening Level 0 to 1000 will have different bless cost every 100 Levels.

Players above 1001 Highest History Awakening Level must pay Archlight Tokens. More information about it down below.

From history awakening level: 0 to history awakening level: 100, the cost is 750k gold.

From history awakening level: 101 to history awakening level: 200, the cost is 1kk gold.

From history awakening level: 201 to history awakening level: 300, the cost is 1.5kk gold.

From history awakening level: 301 to history awakening level: 400, the cost is 2kk gold.

From history awakening level: 401 to history awakening level: 500, the cost is 2.5kk gold.

From history awakening level: 501 to history awakening level: 600, the cost is 3kk gold.

From history awakening level: 601 to history awakening level: 700, the cost is 3.5kk gold.

From history awakening level: 701 to history awakening level: 800, the cost is 4kk gold.

From history awakening level: 801 to history awakening level: 900, the cost is 4.5kk gold.

From history awakening level: 901 to history awakening level: 1000, the cost is 5kk gold.

From history awakening level 1001 and beyond, players will pay a base of 250 Archlight Tokens and an additional 100 Archlight Tokens per Prestige Level. For example, a Prestige Level 15 player will pay 250 + 1500 = 1750 Archlight Tokens to be blessed.

 

 

Miscellaneous Changes

Overall

Daily Rollover Reset Token - Challenge Points cost increased from 250 to 500.

Epic Secret Maps chance to drop Quest Charges Token has been decreased by half.

Legendary Secret Maps chance to drop Quest Charges Token has been decreased to 1/4 of what it was.

Fixed an issue where Skinning didn’t have a chance to drop Profession Safari Ticket.

Amount of players in a party to receive credit from all kinds of tasks has been increased from 4 to 6.

We have reverted the temporary change that granted players 2 shards per raid. Now, only 1 shard will be given.

Monster Essence

Monster Essence - Party Multiplier bonus has been reduced from 25% (up to 100%) to 15% (up to 60%) per member.

Monster Essence can no longer drop items. The residual chance that Item Essence had has been applied to Gold Essences.

Monsters may now drop items from the former Monster Essence Item Essence’s list. The chance scales with loot rate.

 

 

Stamina Changes

Stamina time has been reduced from 42 hours to 6 hours.

The first 2 hours (from 4 to 6 hours) now grant a 50% experience bonus.

The 4 remaining hours grant a 25% experience bonus.

Stamina can now be locked/unlocked by clicking it on the character panel. While the stamina is locked, no minute is lost on it, but the experience bonus is not applied. There’s a 5 minute cooldown to lock/unlock.

While stamina is locked or has reached 0 minutes, players will not receive experience, loot and monster essence by slaying non-forced spawned creatures. This limitation is not applied to forced spawned creatures.

Here’s an example:

At 0 stamina or locked stamina, hunting Azmar Sands Monsters, players will receive everything as usual, just without the experience stamina bonus, since these monsters are force spawned.

At 0 stamina or locked stamina, hunting Olympus Monsters, players will not receive anything at all, since these monsters are non-forced spawned.

Of course, this behavior is applied to all monsters, this was just an example.

Wargates and Loot Slimes can still be triggered with locked or zero stamina.

Bounty Cards stamina refill has been removed.

Stamina Refiller has been removed from the store.

Stamina Furniture now yields 1 stamina hour that can only be used while having less than 3 hours of stamina in your character. Only two per character may be used. The cooldown to use it has been increased from 20 hours to 23 hours, to match the other furniture.

The Daily Training area stamina refill amount has been updated to: 20, 40 and 60 minutes, according to tiers, respectively. It may only be used under 3 hours of stamina.

Every 2 minutes offline, 1 minute of stamina is refilled. As a whole, it would take 12 hours offline to fully recover the stamina.

Trainers have been removed. Now, by staying inside of the Depot Temple or Hideout Shores Temple, players will receive 1 minute of stamina every minute. Every 30 minutes, a Training Token will be given, exactly like trainers were. To be clear, there will still be Training Dummies inside of the Duel Arena.

Overall

Gems' diminishing value has been removed. Now, there’s a limit of 16 gem attributes that can be active. For example, if a player wishes to have 16 Spell Damage - Inferno Gems and 16 Physical Damage - Inferno Gems, their bonuses will be fully applied without diminishing. If they use more Inferno Gems, subsequent gems will have no bonus at all, since it surpassed the limit of 16. Of course, this is being applied to all gems and all attributes, not only to Inferno Gems.

Resistance values can now have decimals. Before, this wasn’t possible. For example, 0.25% resistance, 1.5% resistance, etc.

It will be a direct damage reduction. That is, 50% of resistance means 50% less damage received.

Resistance will be capped. Vocations will have individual Resistance cap, as follows:

Archer: 90%

Bard: 90%

Berserker: 92%

Corsair: 90%

Death Knight: 94%

Druid: 90%

Guardian: 94%

Gunslinger: 90%

Upon exceeding the resistance cap, a maximum health and mana bonus for the amount exceeding will be applied. The percentage is based on the base maximum health and mana.

The small difference is very noticeable at the late game. Vocations were balanced around hunting and quests.

Some vocations will also have base resistances now, as follow:

Bard: 3%

Berserker: 5%

Death Knight: 10%

Guardian: 14%

Monk: 9%

Rogue: 5%

Samurai: 5%

The vocations that have not been mentioned do not have any base resistance.

Equipment no longer provides base resistance. Instead, each upgrade increases the equipment’s resistance by 0.3%. The Darkness Set has the highest Cap Level, at 50, which means 15% of resistance per equipment fully maximized, in total, 60% resistance can come from all 4 pieces of equipment. The resistance from Amulets, Rings and Trinkets has not been changed.

Olympus Jewelry will now grant 0.25% resistance per stage. This includes both Amulet and Ring.

Arcane Hide and Stoneskin feats now grant +1% resistance each, instead of +4% physical/magical resistance.

The Cloud Gem bonuses were previously rounded up or down. That is, 0.4% resistance from Cloud Gems was rounded down to 0%, whereas 0.5%+ was rounded up to 1%. This made the gem inconsistent. We’ve fixed this issue and now the resistance from the gem is correctly applied.

Cloud Gem resistance bonus has been reduced by half.

PvP Damage Reduction

We’ve reviewed all equipment’s PvP Damage Reduction considering the new Resistance System.

Previously, for example, the Darkness Set had a lower PvP Damage Reduction due to the amount of resistance it provided.

Prestige Changes

Prestige Level is now capped at level 30.

Players Awakening Level will be capped at the required Awakening Level for the next Prestige Level.

For example, Prestige Level 10 requires Awakening Level 1675. A player that’s Prestige Level 9 may only level up to Awakening Level 1675 and not beyond. To reach a higher Awakening Level, the player must prestige.

The required Awakening Level to Prestige to level 30 is 5525. This effectively means that the game’s maximum Awakening Level is 5525.

This also means that the extra bonus for prestiging at higher Awakening Levels than the required have been removed.

Bonuses

Prestiging to level 5 and beyond will grant 20 Attack Power. Previously, it granted 1 Attack Power every 50 levels sacrificed above 1000 levels.

Prestiging to level 10 and beyond will now grant 1% of all stats percentage. Previously, it granted 1% for every 1000 levels sacrificed.

Prestiging will now grant +5 stat points. Previously, it granted +1 all stats every 50 levels sacrificed.

Prestiging will now grant +3 Awakening Spell Points. Previously, it granted 1 Awakening Spell Point every 250 levels sacrificed.

Re-level stat points are now granted every 50 levels instead of every 30 levels.

Primary Bonuses

Life Resources is capped at 25%. The bonus percentage has been increased from 2% to 5%.

Resistance is capped at 15%. The bonus percentage has been increased from 2% to 3%.

Merlkin Form no longer provides power. Instead, it triggers Starfall every 10 seconds. Starfall casted by Merlkin Form do not cast Awakening Effects and do not interfere with the regular spell’s cooldown.

Animal Form - Merlkin Form: Starfall automatic loop can now trigger awakening effects. Additionally, it reduces the loop delay by 0.25 seconds per point.
